One of our twists on craft brewing at Bee Spit Meadery would be the modernization of traditional mead to create a crisp, carbonated and fully balanced style known as draft mead. Our draft meads are typically a session (lesser ABV%) of traditional still meads which makes them crushable, easy drinking, and very enjoyable! 
Honey Spit
Draft Mead
Our most primal crushable draft mead! This session mead is made with a variety of honey that changes with the seasons causing a unique flavor with every batch! (8% ABV)
Blue Balz
Draft Mead w/ Blueberries & Lemon
Pucker up to this refreshing draft mead! Tart blueberry with a sour lemon tingle, this session mead has you craving with more! (7.4% ABV)
Cherry Fairy
Draft Mead w/ Cherries & Key Lime
This draft mead is a wonderful blend of the sweetness of honey, the tartness of cherries and the bitterness of key limes. Just as mystical as the fairies in your garden, this session mead will disappear before it’s ever captured! (7.7% ABV)
3SUM
Draft Mead w/ Cranberries, White Grapes, & Apple
Like the baffling algorithm, this combination of fruits has always been a mystery why they’re so good together. Bursting with cranberry up front, the white grape rides across your tongue and finishes with apple popping your taste buds. This session mead leaves you pondering how it could be so good! (7% ABV)

Draft Mead w/ Orange Peels & Dry Hopped
This draft mead has an amazing aroma of citrusy hops. We infused a fantastic blend of Galaxy, Cascade & Amarillo hops with an orange peel zest that will tantalize your taste buds. Perfect for the craft beer enthusiasts looking for those unique beverages! (8% ABV)
Mangonero
Draft Mead w/ Mangos & Habanero
No two flavors have ever merged so well as a sweet mango and the spice of habaneros! This session mead has become a local favorite with the most verbal “WOW” that we hear in the tasting room! (7.6% ABV)

Draft Mead w/ Raspberries, Apples, & Blood Orange
This draft mead razzle’s the brain with excitement! We’ve taken some favorite fruits and twisted them together creating a session mead that bounces around in your mouth. Riddle: It increases and decreases, yet no one can see it. It’s not a fire, yet it can be quenched. (Answer: Thirst!) (7.6% ABV)The Dark Mist

First created in the month of February, Summer Tease got its name from what we were all missing.
This draft mead is a winter favorite while teasing and making you feel like it’s always summer. (7.7% ABV)

Black Eyed Beez
Draft Mead w/ Plums, Raspberries, Black Cherries, Gingerbread Spice, & Black Tea
"Imma Be" honest, "I Gotta Feeling" this mead will top the charts! "Let's Get It Started" by adding "Simply The Best" honey and "Hit It" with some amazing dark fruits! "Don't You Worry" we "Don't Stop The Party" by adding the perfect amount of gingerbread spice to really "Rock That Body! " Don't Lie," one taste and you "Just Can't Get Enough!" (7.2% ABV)

Still Meads 〰️
Still meads tend to be more your traditional style meads with a higher ABV%, corked and bottled for aging. Still meads can very from bone dry or austere like some white wines, to vary sweet like a dessert wine.

While exploring the mountains of Drakensberg, we stumbled across the perfect infusion of flavors.
Extracted from the fiery mouths of an ancient dragon, we bestow to you Dragon Spit. This still mead is one of our highest concoctions backed by our diehard fans. Be prepared as the unimagined has finally been imagined! (7.4% ABV)
Liquid Gold
Mead
The nectar of Gods provided use with our signature traditional style mead. Perfectly blending Wildflower, Apple Blossom & Raspberry Blossom honeys gives our Liquid Gold a unique flavor among meads. We always say, “no two meads are the same!” We give thanks to the honeybees allowing us to create such a wonderful beverage. (13.5% ABV)

At first this mead hits your nose with a beautiful aroma of oaked whiskey followed by apples & honey splashing the perfect sweet spot and leaves you feeling like you’ve licked a cherry.

Mead w/ Elderberry Aged on Oak
Deep in the enchanted forest of the Elder’s where the trees reach into the heavens we find the Sambucas. With myth, lore, legend, and magic linked to this mystical plant, the Meadmaker magnificently conjures a primeval recipe of Elderberry & Raspberry Blossom Honey. As the elixir of life comes to completion it is infused with the wood spice of the oak-tree and bottled for your gratification! (11% ABV)
